Greetings!
I am Edlynn Frondoso-Ng, a CPA by profession and an artist at heart based in Manila, Philippines.
I am a graduate of DLSU and majored in Psychology and Accounting. I started out as an auditor for one of the most prestigious auditing firms in the country. I enjoyed the field work and met a lot of people. The busy tax season (January to April) proved to be indeed taxing so I moved to private practice handling the accounting department of a manufacturing company. I met Deedee in 1993, my blog coach, who was a writer with an Industrial Engineering background. She then introuced me to her husband Peter and I realized that what they were doing didn’t seem like work. I boldly resigned from ’stable’ employment and joined the ranks of the self-employed. I learned a lot from ‘master artist’ who was really talented. In fact, he was so talented that he received an offer to work in a newspaper publishing and printing firm in Hong Kong. I was at a crossroad. Should I continue running his firm or apply in an advertising agency. The second option would open more doors for me, but with no related educational background, I decided otherwise. I’m aware of how cutthroat the competition was in that field. Peter encouraged me to run his studio since I have already met most of the clients. So armed with a secretary, and a messenger and lots of guts, I was successful by my own definition.
I love attending seminars and workshops and ended up enrolling in an intro session for color separation (a printing process) where I met Brian, the man whom I would spend the rest of my life with. We combined our resources and operate under one company. He referred clients who needed design services to me and I referred those who needed films to be produced to him. We married 4 years after we met, and have two wonderful sons, Terence and Xavy.
I am currently a financial advisor, and have reaped numerous awards which marked my dedication and passion to the profession.
While all this is going on, my passion for self-help and personal growth sustained me and built my self confidence. I was moving towards a level of spirituality that was slowly reprogramming the old software that ran my thoughts, and slowly, a lot of people come to me for insights, and for them to unload. I love to listen, that is my passion. When a friend gets a flash of inspiration, that is enough to lift me up as well.
This blog is dedicated to the anxious, stressed, confused, lost, or someone searching for more meaning to his/her life. May the ideas and stories I share with you give you a breather and hope it allows you to see life as it is from a higher perspective. May you pass it forward as well.
I hope you enjoy reading my posts as much as I feel passionate about writing them. Your comments are extremely appreciated.
Welcome fellow lightworker, thank you for listening!
Namaste!

Edlynn! I saw your post on my Multiply. I think it was fate for us to meet and have common friends in Claudine and Venus. I am an accountant as well so there’s another common thread.
Let’s keep in touch. Noted down your cell # and will text you mine.
